Privacy Policy

This website collects no personal data. How the clinic handles the information it does hold.

Updated 23 July 2026

This notice explains how Clinic Dr. Kheng handles personal data collected through this website. It is issued in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

Who we are

This website is operated by Clinic Dr. Kheng, Lot 16, Ground Floor, Block D, Damai Plaza Phase 3, Luyang, 88300 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

For any question about this notice or about the personal data we hold, contact us at [email protected] or +60 13-369 2020.

What we collect

This website does not collect personal data from you. There is no enquiry form, no account, no newsletter sign-up and no comment facility. Nothing you do on this site is stored by us.

The only information recorded is what any web server logs when it serves a page: an abbreviated network address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and to understand which pages are useful. It is not linked to you as an individual.

If you contact the clinic by WhatsApp, telephone or email, that conversation happens outside this website and is handled as ordinary clinic correspondence.

Why we use it

Server logs are used only to operate and maintain the site. We do not sell data, we do not build profiles, and we do not use anything collected here for marketing.

Who else has access

No third party receives data from this website. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network, no form processor and no embedded social media.

Should we ever be required to disclose information by law, by a court order, or by a regulatory authority, we would comply with that requirement.

Once you become a patient, your medical records are held separately in the clinic’s own clinical records system. Those records are subject to medical confidentiality obligations in addition to the PDPA, and are not governed by this website notice.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Because it collects no personal data, there is no store of visitor information here to protect.

Please note that WhatsApp, email and SMS are not secure channels for clinical information. Anything sensitive is better discussed in consultation.

How long we keep it

Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded. We hold no other record of your visit.

Correspondence that forms part of your clinical care is retained in your medical record, in line with Malaysian medical record retention requirements.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
  • Withdraw your consent to us contacting you or otherwise processing your data
  • Limit the processing of your personal data for particular purposes

These rights apply to personal data the clinic holds, which in practice means your patient record and any correspondence, rather than anything gathered by this website.

To exercise any of them, contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by the PDPA. A fee may apply to a data access request, as permitted by the Act.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than from an external provider, so viewing this site does not disclose your visit to any third party.

If analytics are introduced in future, this notice will be updated before they are enabled.

This site contains links to external sites, including WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services. Their own terms apply once you leave this site.

Children

This website is intended for adults. As it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

Language

This notice is issued in English and Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency, the English and Bahasa Malaysia versions prevail.
